Zurich Asia is very happy to open for the first time its auction to the arts. For
our first selection, we chose to introduce the work of a very fine
French painter, Jean-Michel Noquet.
Jean-Michel Noquet was born in Montpellier, France, in 1950. He has been painting since a young age, and draws
his inspiration from Venice and maritime landscapes. Well known in France and Europe, his work has already been
exhibited in Japan.
Jean-Michel Noquet expresses his vision of things by working with grace and no apparent effort to give his work a
flagrant imprint of charm and poesy. There is some Turner in that man.
